Current Events Project Rubric

Cover Sheet 20 pts
I am looking for complete, insightful answers to each of the three questions:
● Question 1 asks what you already learned about your topic through researching your letter to the President. I know what you wrote so you do not need to include specific facts, but compose your response as though you were generally explaining your topic to the audience. Do so in ¼ of a page. (5 pts)
● Question 2 asks what you want to learn about your topic. I am looking for 3-4 insightful questions that could be derived from your topic. Again, ¼ of the page should be devoted to this question. (5 pts)
● Question 3 is to be answered at the completion of the activity. It is a reflection of the process and the information you gathered. How has your topic or issue evolved or changed. How has your understanding or opinion on developed? This requires higher level thought, analysis, and application. This should be the remaining ½ of the page, but you may go onto a second page if need be. (10 pts)
